Get the support you deserve as a female entrepreneur. Master your coaching skills, grow your ideal business, and honor your priorities in your personal life. Are you in? Let's get started with your host, bestselling author and master life and business coach Mollie Clare. Hey, coach. Welcome to this episode where I'm talking with you about the holistic master coach training I'm offering in 2024. So you may or may not be interested in that actual program. Either way, stay tuned here while I talk with you about some of the important things you will want to know as a coach, how you can apply skills, and above all, the importance of ensuring that you as a human being and a business owner are supported as you build your business. I'm going to, in just a minute, kind of foreshadow what you can expect in this episode. But before I do, this coming Monday, October 30th, 2023, I am offering a free webinar. It is a mini training with master coach training Q and A as well. So you can find in the show notes, the link to register, or you can go to mollyclaire.com, click on Free Webinar, and you can sign up there. The webinar is focused on the power of holistic coaching. I've been talking about this in the last couple of episodes. I've got more to come on this. In this mini training on the webinar, I'm going to help you understand what it means to have a holistic view as a coach. And it's also going to open your eyes to some of the things you will want to learn and expand your knowledge of, whether it is through my program or another. So don't miss out. Make sure to register for that. I will be doing that call live with you. And those of you that are interested in master coach training, I will be doing Q and A so you can learn more about taking that actual step of becoming a master coach next year with this holistic program. All right. So today's episode, I'm going to be highlighting three specific things about master coach training. Number one, the knowledge. What are the things you're actually going to be learning? What are we covering and what will that look like? I'm going to talk with you about the skills, meaning how you'll actually take this knowledge and apply it to your clients. How you will apply it in a way that will allow you to expand your business. And how you will apply it to you personally so that the work, the meaningful work you are doing with your clients, you are able to offer yourself that same gift. The last thing I'm going to focus on in this podcast is the personal aspect of this Master Coach training. I think this is where perhaps this differentiates this from anything else out there because, while this program is obviously designed to help you increase your skill set and your knowledge and to be more effective and all of that, first and foremost, this program is designed to be supportive of you. Supportive of you as a human being who is navigating your own personal life, navigating your own personal life as you build a business. You, as a human being, who as you're building your business, you're coming up against your biggest fears, your biggest doubts, some of your traumas- past traumas that just come up and come out in these crazy unexpected ways as you build a business. So this is the part I really want to emphasize because I have seen this, that as I'm talking with clients who are joining this master coach training, this is what they're needing above all is really to have this be a space for their personal growth and, obviously, the great part about it, the added benefit is that it really does allow you to be more effective. So, that's what we're going to talk about and then I will offer a few details at the end as well. So, let's talk first about the knowledge you will gain. If you heard my episode a few weeks ago, I shared a little about my story where I started out as just a cognitive coach. I began expanding my skills as I worked with different coaches, using different modalities as I expanded my own knowledge in many ways. And it wasn't until a few years ago that I came up against some of my biggest internal and external challenges, that I saw the need for this expanded version of coaching for me and support. So in this master coach training, from a knowledge perspective, these are some of the things that I will be supporting you in learning as a coach. First and foremost, we will be covering what I believe absolutely need to be foundational for you as a holistic, safe and ethical coach who is effective. These key foundational areas include cognitive work, including advanced cognitive work. I like to think of this as we can understand cognitive coaching, whether that's the LCS coaching model or other version of mindset work. We can understand it at a superficial level, which is already helpful, but I want to help you expand your ability to use that cognitive model in a way that it also fits in with these other foundational pieces. So, meaning, as you're learning, for example, about more about the nervous system, more about trauma, more about emotion work that I'm able to help you use the cognitive work in a completely different way than you would have learned, when just learning the cognitive piece. So foundational piece number one is going to be advanced and expanded cognitive work. Foundational piece number two, and I'm saying these, number one, number two, this is not in any specific order. There will be an order in the program as to how they're presented, but all throughout I'm helping you to integrate each piece. So number two is nervous system, the foundation of that. I will be teaching some of this. You will also have nervous system expert, Leah Davidson, who will be teaching some of that curriculum, and Lindsey Pullman will be touching on it as well. As a coach, as someone working with people to create change in their life, to improve relationships, all of those things, you absolutely need to have an understanding of the nervous system. The other foundational piece is emotion focused work. Now there's certainly crossover between the cognitive and the emotion and the nervous system and the cognitive and the emotion, right? But it's also important to understand the difference between these areas. So a foundation of understanding emotions, emotions in the body, how to process them, and how you can help your clients and yourself to actually learn from your emotions rather than just trying to adjust them or fix them. The last piece of the foundational pieces is having effective action and strategy-focused coaching. Because there is a lot of value, a lot of benefit in giving your clients tactics, strategies, giving them actions that they will take on in the coming week, and it can only be effective when it is integrated with this broader view. So from a knowledge skill set, we're first going to cover those foundational pieces, cognitive, nervous system, emotion, and action-focused coaching. Now, in addition to that, you will be dipping your toe into some specialties and niches, including goal setting strategies. You will be learning a little about motherhood and family life, parenting. You will be learning a bit more about relationships and how to distinguish yourself as a relationship coach versus a therapist. There is a very blurry, and yet important, line to be aware of. You're going to understand the ways that you will want to draw a line and put the brakes on the relationship work you're doing and increase your own awareness of relationship dynamics so you can be more effective in the coaching space. You're going to dip your toe into grief work with Melanie - I'm sorry, not Melanie Faye. Mel, I'll talk about her work in a minute - you're going to be dipping your toe into grief work with Krista St. Germain. You will be hearing from her on the podcast next week. She is phenomenal at what she does. So this is a high level view sampling of the things you will be dipping your toe into in addition to those foundational pieces. The reason why is that I know that as a coach, you end up helping your clients on such a variety of areas in their life. So I think it's important that you have enough knowledge. And I also understand that as a coach, it is very common to tweak, shift and adjust your niche. So I want to give you that high level, broad knowledge set where you are without having to take every single niche advanced certification. So from a knowledge perspective, the foundational elements of coaching and dipping your toe into some niches so that you can have some great strategies, some great context for what may be going on with your clients. And you can be able to handle, with more ease and more effectiveness, everything that your client brings to you. And also understand when you should send your client somewhere else. All right. Okay, let's move into this part two, skills. How do you actually apply it? So some of the people that have been doing pre-enrollment consultations with me, some of the coaches have had concerns about, is this too early for me to do this? Is this too late for me to do this? And my answer to that is that when it comes to this work, I don't think either one of those can possibly be true. You know, one of the things, because I've been training coaches for such a long time, I definitely have the ability to, even in a group setting, meet each of you where you are and help you to apply what you're learning, whether you are at that foundational level or whether you already have familiarity with this. And one of the things that we will do on our regular calls is, I will be helping you to actually understand how to implement what you're learning, with you first, and then also with your clients. Now we do this in a couple of different ways. One way that we do this is we have case study calls where we are taking a look at someone you're coaching, whether that is a paid client or a free client and helping you to understand where you're getting stuck, which of the things you're learning might be applied to that client. And oftentimes my coaches leave these case study calls with five to 10 ideas of directions they can go, incredible insights and a really shifted perspective into how they can use the tools that they've been using. So that's one way in which I will be supporting you in actually applying the skills that you're learning. The other way that we do this in master coach training, and this is the same way I've done it in my advanced certification, is really by helping to talk through each skill set with different real life examples. Oftentimes I have people ask me, do you give feedback on my coaching? Do I submit recordings? And the answer is no. And there is a very good reason for this. I personally am not a big advocate of giving feedback on sessions. Because I believe that part of the magic in you as a coach is that you will have your own unique approach that is different from me. You will have your own unique gifts as a coach that are different from me. And you will have connection to your own intuition, as you connect with your clients. So from a skills and application process, I will not be listening to your calls, but rather, I will have conversations and we will open up the places you are getting stuck. Part of my goal is to help you actually tune into your own gifts and intuition and help you to know, as we work together on these calls, how to apply what I'm teaching you in a way that goes through you as a coach. I'm hoping this makes sense as I'm describing this. And please come to the Q& A call if you have more questions about that. But I'm definitely not just interested in giving you information, but helping you to actually apply it to you and your clients as well. All right, the next thing I'm going to talk about is the personal support for your transformation. So as I've been talking with coaches, some of the concerns I've had is, will I have enough time? Is this the best use of my time and money as I'm growing my business? I had someone say, I really am realizing I need to dial back in my business. I have too much going on. And what I will say to any of you who feel that way is that this program is designed to be supportive of you. One of the things that I think that we forget as we are building a business and we get into this hustle mode and we want to just learn and we want to consume and we want to create and we want to keep going and go after our goals and we want to go faster, is we don't realize that we, as a human being, have to be nurtured and cared for in order to actually build something incredible. And I actually, I think I mentioned this quote on last week's podcast or maybe the coming week, but I don't think I can say it enough times. There was a quote that said, rather than asking, have I done enough work to deserve a rest? What if instead, we ask, have I given myself adequate rest to do my best work? And I can't emphasize enough that really being the culture that I'm creating in this master coach training community. Because what I know is that if your nervous system isn't attended to, if your emotions aren't cared for and listened to and attended to, and if we're not making space, this compassionate, curious space to look at your thoughts and beliefs, if we're not giving you all of that, how in the world can we expect for you to offer that to your clients? And so, while, I know that this master coach training for those of you that this feels aligned for you. While, I know it's going to allow you to be way more competent, much more effective, much more safe, ethical, having this holistic view, being able to ebb and flow between different modalities with your clients, being able to really understand what it means to meet your client where they are. I know you are going to be able to take the right entry point for your clients. Meaning, when a client is not really clicking with the cognitive approach, understanding what approach will work for them. While I know that it's going to do all of these things for you, competence, confidence, more boldness in your business, stronger referrals - because when you coach someone and they have an amazing experience, they cannot help but refer to you. While these things will happen, what I want you to know if you're here listening to this, is that the greatest win out of this master coach training for you, in my view, is that you will be personally transformed as a person. That you will understand yourself better than you do now. That you will experience more peace within yourself than you do now. That you will have a greater level of self-connection, that you will have a greater level of self-knowing, that you will have such an incredible level of self-trust. That while your emotions and thoughts may go up and down and back and forth during the course of your life, and while you build your business. My greatest hope for you at the end of this master coach training is that you will know yourself better than you've ever known yourself. You will have built the skill of self connection, self trust, and that your baseline will be a baseline of internal peace. So that inevitably when you have the ups and downs, when you're building a business and your emotions and your thoughts go up and down and life ebbs and flows and things happen, that the place you go back to more easily and more naturally is that place of connecting with you, and your intuition, and your inner knowing, and your peace. That you may guide your life with deep intention and purpose. All right, coaches, that's what I've got for you today. I am really looking forward to working with you all on that live webinar next week. You will find out more of the details of Master Coach training at a high level. We are opening enrollment next week, right after that webinar. You will be starting master coach training in January of 2024. We will get started on the 10th. So you're going to have a little bit of wiggle room, the beginning of the year. You will have your core curriculum in this master coach training, winter and spring. We will have space over the summer where you will have continued education calls that are optional, and we will finish up the core curriculum in the fall. Everything will be wrapped up before American Thanksgiving, and we will just have one call the beginning of December to plan the coming year. I have designed the setup this way to be very supportive of you having more space in your personal life and space for you. The other thing about the way this program is set up is that it is set up to not be an overload of information, but rather enough information that it can be supportive of you as a person as you're learning and integrating it. Really, my hope is that those coaches that are in this space feel that this is a space that energizes you, that fills you, that fills your soul, that heals you. Rather than being a space of burnout, of hustle, of intensity. Because I have learned the hard way that that will never work. And even if it works in the short term, it will never work as a sustainable way of living and building your business. All right, coach. Looking forward to seeing you on that call. Next week you're going to hear from Krista Saint Germain, Mickey Gardner and Sharon Wyrant who are phenomenal coaches in this program. They're talking about grief and what that looks like for their clients. And you don't want to miss it. All right. Have an amazing day. I'll talk with you soon.
