Let me tell you, we have so many exciting things going on in our community, and I want to share some of them with you here on the podcast today. So today's episode will be focused on the blueprint for transformation.

I'm going to talk you through the exact steps that you can incorporate as you are creating any kind of shift in your life. And this can be from making an intentional choice to do something different or that somewhat forced choice where life brings you circumstances.

And then within what is sent your way, you then have that choice of how you will face it and lean into it. So we're going to be talking about that blueprint for transformation today. That is the content, the topic of this week's episode.

Either what compelled you to come to this podcast today in particular, or what it was that first drew you to this space. And my guess is that it's something within you that is calling you to seek a little more guidance, to seek a little more intention.

Maybe a part of you that knows that there's more for you. And maybe you're a person who desires to truly embrace change and open up to possibility. I'm guessing that's true for most of you, or there's a part of you that this resonates with.

So here we are together, and the Life, Mastered podcast is really focusing on how do you become a person who is mastering you, who is authentic with you, who is clear on your ideal life, your ideal relationships, and is leading yourself in a way to create that.

And this type of self-discovery, self-opening, and transformation really requires not just intention, but continued support on our path forward. So let's take a step back. So some of you are here because you are just seeking something new, seeking something better.

While some of you may be really feeling forced into looking inward, forced into looking for something more, because life circumstances seem to have put this upon you. And what I want to say about this is it really doesn't matter if life has beautifully brought you to this place, even though it doesn't feel beautiful all the time, right?

It doesn't matter whether life has brought you to this place where it almost seems like you're forced into this growth, or if you are in a place where you are ready to simply choose that growth. One is not better than the other.

It does not matter which applies to you. In either case, it is a choice that you are making to grow, to embrace, to look inward, and to believe that more is possible and to choose to move toward what is possible.

And in this journey of moving forward, of growing, of expanding, I want to offer up that one of the first steps that you can take is to get grounded, to get connected. And as we talk through these steps, I'm going to relate to you the way that Melanie and I are setting up our in-person retreat.

Because essentially, as the two of us come together and we think about you, we think about our clients, we are wanting to create this intense experience of growth and transformation. And so it's not just about putting certain activities in a certain way and having fun and thinking, oh, how would this feel good to have this all put together to have a great time, which is also certainly a part of it.

But truly, where our intention is going is, how do we create support for this gathering of people, this gathering of ambitious souls? How do we help them to not just have a good time, to not just feel good, but how do we help them and support them in going on a journey so that at the end of this experience, not only do they feel reset, refreshed, but they feel strengthened, they feel confident, and they feel as though they have the internal resources to continue to move forward with transformation.

And even though I'm talking about this retreat, this container, the same applies to every single one of you as you are stepping forward, creating growth and creating transformation. So let's go back to this idea of getting grounded.

So as a real life practical example, at the retreat, when we come together and gather with our clients, the very first night is all about getting settled in, getting acclimated. Because something that we know, that Melanie and I know very well, is that anytime that we, in fact, I'm going to steal a quote from the brilliant Leah Davidson.

She says, “When you enter a room, your nervous system enters the room before you do.” And I love this quote because as we as a group are all gathering together, our nervous systems are communicating with each other, right?

We're feeling out the space, seeing if it's safe. And so as Melanie and I thought, how do we set up a space where everyone can feel safe and settled and grounded? We wanted to make space initially for everyone to simply come together, to relax, to get acclimated, to really feel into the space.

And with a little bit of space to get settled, it sets everyone up the next day to move to phase two. So let's talk about you right now in this day, in this moment, as you're listening to this. When you think about the transformation that you are moving toward in your life, are you able to first ground yourself before you go to setting the goals or taking the action?

How are you taking the time to ensure that you have a more regulated nervous system? How are you connecting with yourself? How are you checking in to ensure that you feel internally a sense of safety as you move toward your big goal?

That's always going to be step one, because if we don't have that foundation of safety, we cannot and will not grow. Or we can grow a little bit and then we will inevitably self-sabotage. So this is step one.

Let's talk about the next piece of the puzzle, which I'm referring to as intentions and anchoring. So for the sake of this example, as we begin the retreat, the first full day is all about intention setting and anchoring in that intention.

And I'm going to tell you what this is going to look like in particular for the deep reset retreat. And then we're going to talk about you listening right here in this moment and how you can apply this.

So as we begin the day, I'm going to be working with everyone there in this beautiful cabin, by the way. We'll be there in this beautiful setting of peace, serenity, away from the noise. And we're really going to settle in and ask the question, what is your intention for the next three days?

And really talking about why that matters. Talking about where do I want to go? What am I letting go of? And what is it that is going to anchor me in this intention? And not only are we going to be talking through that as a group, but Melanie is going to be doing the emotion work with the group because we can connect our mind with our intentions.

We can connect our mind with that anchoring. And we also need to make sure that we're bringing our emotional self with it. And so this is something you hear me talk a lot about on the podcast. What about the emotional piece, right?

So that's really going to be the focus of that day. It is setting the intention, not only in where we're wanting to go, but what we're wanting to let go of and what is the anchor that will move us forward toward it.

And how do we get our nervous system and our emotions on board? So let's relate this then to you in this moment, right now. Once you're grounded, what are your intentions within the transformation that you are creating?

Where is it that you want to go? Why do you want to go there? What is it that you're letting go of? What is it you're letting go of that is actually going to allow you to move forward? And as you think about where you're headed and what you're going to let go of, what is it that you will anchor yourself in to ensure that you stay a path?

At the risk of being repetitive and telling you this really important piece of my story over and over again, when I began my business, I knew that I wanted to create a better life for myself than my mom had for her as a struggling, burnt-out, overwhelmed, single mom.

And I knew that right alongside that, I wanted my kids to have a better life than I had as a child. I, as their mom, wanted to be present, wanted to be available, wanted to have the time, freedom, and flexibility to show up for them and have a great life myself.

And this was an anchor for me. And this anchor has been there from the beginning. And let me tell you what a powerful anchor that has been, because inevitably, as we build a business or as we move toward whatever goal matters to you, we are going to come up against roadblocks and challenges and self-doubt and frustration.

And we're going to have rock bottom moments. But with that anchor, with that intention, and that anchor that matters to you that you revisit over and over again, that is how you will stay the course.

Okay, so let's keep flowing through this. So that's our day one, right? Intentions, anchoring. We're talking mentally, we're talking emotionally. We're going to be doing group work because there is incredible power in co-regulating within a group.

We can create a lot of change on our own, but I assure you that your brain is wired for connection and having support from the right people and feeding off one another's energy is so powerful. So we're going to be bringing that in.

We're going to be doing group work. We're going to be doing small group partner work and really having the chance to have a supportive experience. And so as you are thinking about intention and you are thinking about anchoring in where you are headed, you have to make sure that you have the right type of support.

Who are the people that I want to lead me toward this? Who are the people I want surrounding me and lifting me up? Okay, so let's go to the next phase after the intention and anchoring, which is releasing healing and support with integration.

So what this means in this practical, tangible example is that in this three-day immersive experience, this second day is really about leaning in to see what is it in us that needs some attention. Where do we need some healing?

Where do we need that releasing? So if you remember, one of the questions that I posed to you just not that long ago in this podcast was, what are you wanting to let go of? And it's easy to say we want to let go of something, but inevitably we need support.

We need nervous system support. We need emotion work. We need thought work. We need to do some things that are going to help us to release. And in the context of this experience, the deep reset retreat, what that's going to look like is some inner child work with Melanie, which is going to be phenomenal.

I'm not going to tell you all the things we're doing because we're still brainstorming about the second day in terms of what is going to be most powerful. There may be some creative expression, some artwork, some, I know, I hate to even say that.

I know it can be intimidating, but I assure you that this day is going to be one of really finally being able to discover some things within you that are going to help you move forward and to really release those heavy things that hold you back.

Really release those big fears and those voices inside of you that tell you that it's not safe for you to create this change. And so on this second day where we are taking a look at what's happening inside, what am I really needing?

How can I release this? And it's also really a day of helping to integrate everything that you have set with your intentions and anchoring. Because it's one thing to talk about, right, where we want to go.

It's one thing to talk about that anchoring. It's one thing to talk about the desire, but how are you actually integrating it? And this is where a lot of self-help and even coaching and guidance really falls short.

Because if you're not having the support in actually integrating the new thoughts and emotions and that having that nervous system regulation in correlation with your intention, then you're going to end up frustrated over and over again.

So in terms of this process and phase for you, you're grounded, right? That's step one. You're grounded. Next, you are looking at intention and anchoring. And then you want to make all of that space for releasing, healing, support, and integration.

And this is where for all of you, I recommend you find, right, who is my coach? Who is my mentor? What are the resources and the support systems that I have around me to help me actually stay the course and integrate everything that I'm doing?

So as you're thinking right now about what you're shifting in your life, what support do you have in releasing the old? What support do you have in your own healing? How do you integrate in the things you know intellectually that you need to do or that you want to do?

So these are some questions that you want to ask yourself in terms of your own transformation journey. And one of the things we're going to be doing on this day, which is such an incredible exercise, is we're actually going to have a releasing ceremony where we are going to be writing down the things that we are going to release and we're going to do something pretty awesome with those.

So the final day is really about rising up. We're ready for liftoff, right? Looking at that future self, those next steps, and really asking yourself, why is this future version of me so powerful? What is it about them?

What is it that has been built in them that has allowed them to achieve this next step, this next goal? And so on this third day as we come together, we're really continuing to process and set in all the releasing and work that has been done.

That's our first thing, right? We want to have a little bit of closure. This has all been released. Now let's re-anchor ourselves within that. And then this last day is all about that future focus and not only thinking about, not only envisioning, not only having a plan, that is all fantastic.

But we're talking about actually taking the time to be set up for success on your continued journey of transformation. Because for those of you that are going to be with us at this experience, when you come in and you get grounded and you set that intention and you anchor yourself, and then we move to the releasing and the healing and the moving forward, when we have this plan for you, we all know what it's like, right? When we leave an experience or we leave an event and we have all of that energy and we're so excited. And then what happens? We go back to life. And then life doesn't seem so inspiring as that three days in a quiet still cabin was, right?

And so this last day of this retreat is really about not only anchoring in these emotions, but helping you to have a solid plan and strategies and tools to be able to actually continue the work, to be able to actually move to that ultimate place you want to go, to that transformation that you are creating, whether it is a transformation you are creating in your personal life, in your relationships, or in your business, your ability to make money, whatever it is. And that is really this last phase. And this day is going to be all about that future focus, being set up for success. And there's going to be just a lot of really cool experiences that we are going to be doing, being a part of nature there.

There is so much power in the outdoors. And what I love about this retreat is it's such a beautiful combination of having the comfort and peace of a beautiful cabin where there is stillness and also having this direct access to this beautiful world around us, and nature, and the power of the trees.

And it's just, it's just, can you tell I'm excited? It's just going to be out of this world. This is one of my favorite places to go. And I just, I cannot wait for those of you that are joining us. So all this being said, how does this relate to you?

Right here today, you know you want transformation. You can get yourself grounded. Create your intention. Anchor yourself. Pull together your support system. Pull together your strategy. How are you integrating into your mind, your body, your nervous system, all of these things that you're wanting?

And then it's this last piece of rising up and being ready for liftoff. Can you take the time to really walk yourself through the steps between where you are and where you want to be? Can you take the time to really think about that final version of yourself, if there is such a thing, which there isn't, right?

But it's like that next version of yourself, that final version that you see at least in this moment. And of course, then there will be another one, right? But can you take the time to think about that version of you and get in tune with how do they think on a daily basis?

How do they feel on a regular basis? What is so powerful about them? And how am I going to rise up, get ready for liftoff and fill that gap and step into being that version of me now. Okay, this is what I've got for you today.

Take these steps in. This blueprint for transformation can be condensed down into your daily morning routine. This pattern, this blueprint for transformation can be something you build in weekly, monthly, yearly.

The situations will change, the goals will change, the life circumstances will change. But this process and this pattern of getting grounded, setting your intention and anchoring yourself, giving yourself space and resources and healing and releasing, and finally continuing to connect with that future vision and feeling into it, moving into it, thinking into it.

This is the pattern that can be repeated over and over again, no matter what.
